Now, for the second look I decided to take a baby step towards using colors.
I would say that overall this look still leans rather neutral and is one that is safe enough to wear without feeling too dramatic or smoked out but the little peeks of color within, be it the stunning copper gold or shy purple shimmers, gives it that little something too amidst all that whole neutral-wearable aspect!
The copper-gold shade I used here (frankly I don’t even know if copper-gold is the right way to describe it) leans a little orange under certain lighting and it’s really quite a color shifter.
Though regardless what color it reflects, one thing is for sure and that this is a stunning color to wear. It easily adds that spark to a look because of how vibrant a shade it is but it doesn’t appear too unwearable either, which is what makes it such a joy and such an ease to pull off.
If you’re ever tired of mixing up neutrals with Vice 3, just pop on a little bit of Lucky and you’re all set!
I’ll admit that I’m not doing Vanity (that sultry purple) much good with this look because I dabbed it on lightly and blended it out such that only a darkened base remained, speckled with purple shimmers within.
When worn full on I can imagine this being a really complex purple that would shift depending on how the light hits it!
For this look, I also tried to keep within the same ‘column’ if you recall the layout of the palette from my Vice 3 overview entry. That’s why I thought to pair Lucky with Vanity and even though both are strong colors alone, they still work well together and compliment each other in a look.

This is an eyelook I’ll certainly revisit when I find myself in a neutral rut and needing a soft pop of vibrance!
Tell me, do you like to pair copper and purple together?
